I left in a bit of a rush but my husband and I have been traveling around South America for the last couple of weeks. We started off our trip in Ecuador in the Galapagos Islands and wow, they didn't disappoint. We sailed around the islands for 5 days and saw some truly amazing animals and landscapes. Here are a few snapshots from the trip.

Not long after we moved in, I received a wholesale order for my fabric note cards. The client wanted a variety of patterns and colors and it all looked so great sitting on my work table.

One of our first orders of business was to sand and re stain the deck so we could make the most of the sunny, summer days. Now that it's done, I literally live out here! I try to do as much as I can outside and it really invigorates the soul. I love reading, relaxing, listening to music, eating, and {of course} napping! Napping is my favorite summer activity. There's something about laying under an umbrella with a cool breeze that initiates a sleep-induced coma.
