It's been a long, difficult road but we are finally nearing the end of the Mancave renovation. The task was simple according to my husband - make a comfortable man cave where the guys could watch the game. Easier said than done, expecially when I was told he wante me to use the colours of his favourite sports team. In the end, he gave up a little and so did I but what we came up with was a perfect balance. Manly enough to have the guys over with a few femine touches. Here are some of the highlights with a few before and after pictures:
Wood pallet dart board wall
Industrial furniture
Concrete fllors
Vintage accessories
Chalkboard walls
The wood wall was made out of wooden pallets. I found them on Craigslist. Some company had piles of them that they were giving away for free! After a good scrub with soap and water, my husband cut them into pieces and nailed them up. Love it.
We got that metal cabinet from an antique store that had just received a crateload of industrial furniture from France. Love.
The chalkboard wall. The boys have so much fun adding their art to it. It's a big hit.
