The last few days have been busy for me. Aside from being sick (again!) losing my voice and coughing up my lung, I managed to put together and ship off 90 Christmas cards. That's a lot of cutting and placing and fusing and packaging, but I love it. I even got to modify two of my existing note card sets to personalize them. It was one extra step that added to the process but I think they turned out great. Here's what I've been working on.

Even though I've been sick this weekend (hacking up a lung and sneezing up a storm), I've managed to design and photograph a bunch of new products. I'm really excited about my holiday cards. Last year, I never got around to selling folded cards because I was busy going through my first Etsy holiday season. This year, I'm prepared and excited to share my new designs.
If you're new to my blog or my products, then you're just discovering that all the details in my cards are cut out of fabric. The ornaments, stocking and mittens are all fabric pieces that I've fused to the cardstock. Check it out below.

She inspired me to make more! I'm loving this stocking card ~ I added cotton to the tops for an extra 3D effect!
I can't decide what I love more: the fabric ornaments or the rockin' font!
These new cards definitely take more time because I have to place each piece of fabric but I'm loving the final effects. You can find them in my shop here in the next few days.

I just love Autumn. Vancouver turns the most beautiful shades of red, orange, gold, purple and yellow. The trees are just beginning their transformation and I'm totally inspired.

I've been wanting to do personalized stationery for a while and experimented with a couple different options where I could incorporate fabric into the design. In the end, I really like the simplicity of these note cards and the fabric detail adds a little touch of fabulousness!

I have a few friends who LOVE ladybugs. So, when I saw this adorable ladybug fabric, I knew it would be perfect for them. I printed the grass first and then added the ladybugs. I totally have spring fever!

A while ago I did a custom order for a fabulous couple in Germany who were having a baby. They asked me if I could do their birth announcements and wondered if they could be done in Dutch! Well, of course I don't speak Dutch, so they did all the writing and I designed the layout for them. The "Lockette" touch was, of course, a small baby onesie in the corner.

It's been hard getting back into the swing of things with that nice, long VaCay but I'm slowing making it happen. With Valentine's Day coming up fast, I've put a few items in my shop. I'll be adding more this week. I can't get enough of turquoise & red, and hearts!

Okay, seriously. This little guy is my absolute favorite! I started making him for my craft fairs, and he got so much love I couldn't resist posting him. If you're an American buyer, you're running out of time to get holiday items before Christmas. I've been wanting to do some personalized stationery for a while. It's been a little tricky, but I found a machine that will allow me to create my designs on a computer and then cut it out. It was a steep curve, and after much frustration, I've created my first set.
My wedding photographers (Stephen and Jennifer Bebb ~ two of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world, for reals!) saw my stuff and asked if I could create something for their studio. Um, yah! I used their logo and colours from their blog and came up with this:
